Attorney Coleman Jackson enjoyed discussions today with his SMU Cox MBA Academy mentee, Natalia Prokofeva, as part of the Spring 2026 Cox Mentorship Academy, Cox’s executive mentoring program. His main message was to keep “ING” in imagining as she prepares to lead through the Artificial Intelligence advance of opportunities and challenges through the straight lines that we can see and through the curves we cannot see. Be bold, be compassionate, remember past experiences; especially draw from the bravery exhibited by immigrants to the U.S. A. as she came from Russia, and use her technology skills, accounting, successes and diverse auditing background as fuel for future leadership wherever the straight lines and curves lead her. We were on the same frequency right from the start with respect to this. Both learning! It’s a privilege to be a part of SMU Cox Business School’s mentorship program designed to “provide MBA students with an introduction to mentorship and a framework for establishing and maintaining professional relationships.” In keeping with this mentorship program goal, Natalia and I spoke about the need to keep “ING” in relating with others as the foundational touchstone as we serve and boldly lead others through the opportunities and challenges of Artificial Intelligence.
What a wonderful way to celebrate the season. On December 17, 2025, we had the pleasure of attending a Christmas celebration hosted at one of our client’s restaurants. The evening was filled with excellent food, lively music, and meaningful conversations with clients, their employees, and friends. We are grateful for the relationships we’ve built and the opportunity to spend time together outside of work during such a special time of year.
